Nomination Form for HVAC Giveaway

1. Sponsorship:

The giveaway (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Florida Coast Cooling, located at 6431 S Suncoast Blvd Homosassa, FL 34446.

2. Eligibility:

The Sweepstakes is open to all residents of Hernando and Citrus County, FL, with a particular focus on veterans, teachers, and community members in financial need. However, this does not restrict nominations to these categories exclusively. Self-nominations are not accepted. Employees of Florida Coast Cooling, their immediate family members, and household members are NOT eligible to nominate or be nominated. Special consideration will be given to Veterans for the draw on Veterans Day.

3. Agreement to Official Rules:

By participating, the nominator agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all aspects related to the Sweepstakes.

4. Entry Period:

The Sweepstakes begins on Oct 20, 2023, and ends on Nov 20, 2023. Entries submitted before or after this period will not be considered. The first draw for Veterans will be on Veterans Day, November 11, 2023, with the subsequent draws happening on Nov 20, 2023.

5. Nomination:

Nominators must fill out the online form providing all required information about the nominee and themselves, including a compelling story as to why the nominee deserves the HVAC system.

6. Verification:

– For Teachers: Employment will be verified with the respective school.
– For Veterans: Nominees must provide their DD214 as proof of their veteran status.
– For Others: Apart from passing the background check, references will be contacted to verify the nominee’s status of need.

7. Prizes:

– The winners will receive a Trane Air Conditioning System which includes a new condenser, new air handler, and installation costs.
– Additional costs such as thermostat replacements, hurricane pads, permits, and breaker costs are not included and will typically not exceed $500. The model of the Trane unit will be decided based on the home’s specifications.

8. Winner Selection:

A panel of judges from Florida Coast Cooling will review all nominations and select three homeowners based on the story’s authenticity, relevance to the criteria, and the nominee’s genuine need. Winners will be announced on Veterans Day, November 11, 2023, for the special Veterans pick and on Nov 20, 2023, for the remaining picks.

9. Winner Notification:

Winners will be notified by phone or email provided by the nominator. If a winner cannot be contacted within five days after the date of the first attempt to contact them, Florida Coast Cooling reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

10. Privacy:

All personal information submitted during the nomination process will be used solely for the purpose of this giveaway. Florida Coast Cooling respects participants’ privacy and will not share, sell, or distribute this information to third parties.

11. General Conditions:

– Florida Coast Cooling reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Florida Coast Cooling’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Florida Coast Cooling in its sole discretion.

– By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Florida Coast Cooling, its affiliates, and each of their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, and employees from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, or any liability of any kind resulting from or arising from participation in the Sweepstakes.

12. Disputes:

This Sweepstakes is registered with the state of Florida gaming commission. Any disputes or concerns will be addressed as per the regulations set forth by the commission.
